Quick answers to the things people ask us most.

Where are you based and where do you roast?

We're based in The Colony, Texas — right in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex — and that's also where every batch of coffee is roasted. We roast on a 1 kg Skywalker roaster in our small setup here. Small-batch means every roast gets our full attention from start to finish.

Whole bean or ground?

We offer whole bean coffee only. Freshly roasted coffee stays at its best when left whole, and we believe that's the right way to experience it. Grinding fresh right before you brew makes a real difference in the cup, so we leave that step to you.

What roast levels do you have?

Raw coffee beans are always changing, which means our roast profiles will change along with them. We aim to always have at least one light roast, one medium, and one dark roast available so there's something for every preference. If you're looking for a specific flavor profile you don't see on the site, reach out to us at hello@hazulroasters.com — we may be able to put together a custom order just for you.

How fresh is the coffee?

We roast to order, which means nothing sits on a shelf waiting for a buyer. We roast, bag, and ship — typically within 1–2 business days of your order. From roast date to your doorstep in just a few days. That's about as fresh as it gets without growing your own.

How should I store coffee?

Keep it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place — room temperature is perfect. We don't recommend freezing your coffee, since condensation can affect the flavor when you take it out. And for the best experience, only grind what you plan to brew right away.

Do you offer decaf?

We don't have a decaf option available just yet, but it's something we're actively planning for the future. We'll make sure to share an update as soon as we have news on that front.

How do I order?

Ordering is straightforward — just add your favorite coffee to the cart and check out. We use Stripe to process payments, so your transaction is secure and all major credit cards are accepted. No complicated steps, no fuss.

Do I need an account?

Not at all — you can check out as a guest without creating an account. If you do decide to create an account, you'll be able to view your order history and save your information for next time. Either way works fine.

What's your shipping time?

We roast and ship within 1–2 business days of receiving your order. After that, delivery typically takes another 2–5 business days depending on your location and the carrier. All orders include tracking information sent to your email as soon as they ship.

Do you offer returns?

Coffee is a perishable product, so we can't accept returns based on taste preference. We roast each batch carefully and stand behind our quality, but we understand taste is personal. If your order arrives damaged, or if we sent the wrong item, please email us at hello@hazulroasters.com within 7 days and we'll make it right — whether that's a replacement or a refund.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make a change, reach out to us at hello@hazulroasters.com as soon as possible. Because every batch is roasted to order, we can only make changes before we fire up the roaster. Once it's roasted, it's bagged and on its way — so the earlier you let us know, the better.

Do you offer local pickup?

We do — if you're in or near The Colony, Texas, we're happy to arrange a local pickup. Just place your order online and then email us at hello@hazulroasters.com to coordinate a time. We'll get your coffee ready and figure out a convenient handoff.

Do you do wholesale?

We're not offering wholesale pricing just yet — we're still a small operation and need to scale up a bit before we can commit to wholesale accounts reliably. That said, we're always open to hearing from cafes, offices, or retailers who are interested in carrying Hazul Coffee.
